Boston emerges as the hub of management education
The verdict had never been more pronounced than it is this year! When it comes to being the hub of business school and management programs in the country, Boston is way ahead of all the other cities that are in the league.
According to the latest Business School Rankings released by the US News and World Report, 9 out of 111 ranked colleges are situated in and around Boston, which is the highest for any single area in the country.
Harvard, MIT and Dartmouth figured in the top ten, with Harvard at number #2, MIT at number #3 and Dartmouth at number #7. Harvard slipped to the second spot, being replaced by the Stanford School of Business. Last year, the two business schools had shared the top spot.
Other Boston business schools also featured in the US news top business school rankings occupying various positions in the list of 111 ranked colleges. Boston College and Boston University together occupied the 34th position, while the Babson college featured at a decent 52. Northeastern University and UMass Amherst followed close at 56 and 60 respectively.
