Google’s spoke person Matt Cutts had also made it clear that the sites which will perform slow , will be penalized.

So what is the next thing web developers around the world will start work towards (They have been working towards it , but now they might get obsessed) ?

We had posted a google SEO quiz for those of you who want to know how good they are at SEO.

I have been using wordpress plugin Google XML Sitemaps to generate sitemaps.xml .The sitemaps.xml is in the directory I had specified and gets updated with the frequency defined.

Still when I try to for google webmaster to read the sitemaps.xml , it  shows failure. The error message I see

Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.

I spend lot of time looking around and wondering what could be wrong.  Is the plugin nor working ?

Finally I realized that I was submitting directory and not file name assuming google would pick up sitemap.xml .

So the url would be

http://www.skill-guru.com/blog/filename.xml

Google today launched much its much awaited phone Nexus One. Although it is very less on memory 4GB vs iPhone 16B, the TCO (total cost of ownership) is less than for 2 years.  One should also not over look the fact that this is 3rd generation iPhone which has improved a lot over its predecessor and this is Google’s first attempt into handset.

Hey Skill-guru users , do you know Google is coming out with Google guru ? Is this same as  yahoo answers ?

May be not because google had earlier this service called google answers which was not very successful.  We are seeing this version in Thailand Thailand Google Guru . We will wait for this to be rolled out in US in English.
