Razorfish Sold by Microsoft to Publicis for $530 million

Razorfish, one of the largest online interactive ad agencies in the world which was bought by Microsoft in 2007 , has been sold to Publicis , a French advertising firm for approx $ 530 million. Razorfish and Quantive were acquired by Microsoft  as a countermeasure against Google. But razor fish never really made sense for Microsoft.

This agreement also guarantees cheaper advertising rates on all Microsoft owned properties for the french advertising giant and Publicis is also going to spend couple of hundred million dollars on all properties of microsoft.

Not a bad deal overall
